Most of us are aware that drinking too much alcohol can aggravate certain health conditions. But not everyone knows or acknowledges that one of those health issues is cancer. According to the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), alcohol consumption—whether heavy, moderate, or light—may increase the risk of several types of cancers, e.g. head and neck cancer, esophagus cancer, stomach (gastric) cancer, colon cancer, and breast cancer. The holiday season brings with it social gatherings and parties, along with more opportunities than usual to consume alcoholic drinks with loved ones. If you want to stay on the healthy side during this festive season, try these recipes for non alcoholic Christmas drinks instead.
