Content Writer

An opportunity to join a new and exciting company with a diverse and highly experienced team in the field of health and wellness.

The content writer position is expected to grow substantially over the next year and what is now starting as a casual part time role could easily develop quickly into a full time position.

Ideally, you have some experience in writing for the web, including articles, blog content, press releases, web pages and a strong interest in health and wellness. Specific consideration will be given to individuals experienced writing about chronic diseases including cancer prevention, treatment and recovery.

Create and/or edit blogs, landing pages and other web related content according to the brief given by the Head of Marketing.

Liaise with other members of the team as and when required to help brainstorm ideas.

Create content according to a content calendar which you are given in advance.

Attend briefings and training sessions with the Head Of Marketing around the type of content required, how to create the content in the best possible way for user engagement, conversion rate optimization and search engine optimisation.

Research content that is being produced by other service providers in the industry and present your ideas of how we can make our content more outstanding to the HOM in your briefings and training.

Be prepared to learn and grow with the company and prepared to develop your ability to deliver outstanding world class content which is better than anything else in the industry.

Have or be prepared to gain an understanding of how search engines work and how we optimize content for search engines. This includes writing title tags, descriptions, header tags and knowing how keywords are used. Training will be provided on how to do this but it must be something which you are willing to embrace in your writing.

Unlimited investment into your training and development will be provided by the management team and other external resources for the right person.

Find suitable images from our library of real and stock images and/or find stock images from one of our stock image subscriptions.

Submit finished content pieces for approval by the Head Of Marketing and Head of Coaching.

Assign approved content pieces to the web team for upload and to the social media managers for distribution.

Record your working hours via our Timetracking app and follow instructions/tasks given in our project management system. Make notes accordingly in the project management. system and keep stakeholders informed through notes in the system and direct communication as required.

Content Writer

Our initial requirements are around 10 pieces of content per month, no more than 30,000 words in total.

This is a remote position which can be done from anywhere in the world.
S/E Asian or European timezones preferred but not essential.
Native English speaker preferred but non native fluent speakers will be considered.
