At the Cancer Coach, we have done the research for you!
Sugar contributes to problems like obesity and diabetes, which not only increase your risk of developing cancer in the first place, but are also aggravating factors in a cancer diagnosis.
Multiple studies have linked high sugar consumption to increased growth of cancer tumours and metastasis.
At the Cancer Coach we consider that there is enough research linking high sugar consumption to poorer prognosis, poorer outcome and poorer quality of life.
Ask yourself the question: do you really want to take the risk?
But now, you’re probably worrying about: How can I avoid sugar?
How can I put this into practise in my daily life? How can I still enjoy meals if I need to avoid sugar?
We understand that avoiding sugar in your daily life can be a real challenge and you might feel like you are not ready or not able to try it. However, we do believe that with the right guidance, appropriate strategy and adequate support, you can do it.
We believe that every person is unique, that every cancer is different, every circumstance is particular and every person deserves an individualized nutrition plan. When you join a coaching plan with your very own cancer coach, together we will work out a diet plan personalized to your profile, priorities and taste. We will develop realistic action steps that fit into your day-to-day life.
We will teach you how to create a delicious and nutrient dense food plan that we will leave you satisfied. We will provide you with easy to follow recipes.
We believe that with every bite you take you can either enhance your health or deteriorate your health. In our view, food and mealtimes should still be a pleasurable activity and …enjoying food is part of a good quality of life and should not be another source of frustration and negativity. With our help you can continue enjoying food after your diagnosis even while avoiding sugar.
