Optional : 1 frozen pitted date (for a sweeter taste)
Pour ½ cup of coconut milk or nut milk in a high speed blender, add the frozen bananas and strawberries and blend until it’s smooth and creamy.
Optional: garnish with some freshly cut strawberries.
Watermelon is hydrating and satisfies a sweet craving. For a dessert or a fun snack, take a thick center slice of watermelon and cut into wedges. Arrange on a platter to resemble a pizza pie. Top with some fresh berries, melon balls, peaches, kiwi, or any other fruits you like. Add a little chopped mint and a squirt of lime juice.
Frozen grapes on their own are a refreshing treat in hot weather. Blending them with a little honey and lemon, makes a sublime dessert.
Remove one bunch of seedless grapes from their stems. Wash and gently pat dry. Place grapes on a baking sheet or plate and freeze in a single layer until firm, a few hours or overnight.
Puree the frozen grapes in a food processor or blender, scraping down sides. Add honey, zest and juice. Puree a little longer until smooth. Enjoy immediately or refreeze in small containers for a terrific anytime treat!
Tip: You can make sorbet with all different types of frozen fruit. Try using mango, pineapple, papaya, berries…or even a mixture of a few types.
A quick, fruit-based desert packed with vitamin C to sate your sweet cravings.
Peel and remove seeds of one orange. Cut into cubes. Mix orange with a small handful of fresh, chopped mint. Drizzle with 1 teaspoon raw honey. Top with handful of almonds. Serve.
